The visible variables, decisions, obligations and open loops competing for attention.
Control point
The lowest-force leverage point.
The earliest place where a small intervention can change a larger loop.
Minimum Viable Control
The smallest system that preserves agency.
The minimum conditions and actions needed to keep meaningful choice available today.
Graceful degradation
Reduce scope, preserve function.
As capacity falls, the system becomes smaller without losing its essential purpose.
Drift
Direction changes without a decision.
Gradual movement away from the chosen protocol without deliberate choice.
Re-entry
Continue from reality now.
No restart ritual. No replaying missed steps. No artificial catch-up debt.

Do not finance output with collapse.
Safety, recovery and other minimum conditions that should not be sacrificed for short-term output.
