01 / Stabilize
Protect the base
Reduce avoidable volatility before adding more load. Recovery, safety and basic capacity are constraints, not inconveniences.
The framework
Exit Framework is a practical operating model for moving from unstable reaction to disciplined autonomy. It does not ask for perfect motivation. It asks for a sequence that can still run when capacity is imperfect.
Operating loop
The loop is intentionally simple: stabilize the base, observe reality, separate facts from assumptions, choose the active constraint, execute one realistic move, measure the result, document what happened and adjust the system.
01 / Stabilize
Reduce avoidable volatility before adding more load. Recovery, safety and basic capacity are constraints, not inconveniences.
02 / Observe
Describe the current system before explaining it. Look at behavior, environment, energy, attention, time and money.
03 / Separate
Distinguish what is known, what is interpreted and what remains uncertain. Better decisions begin with cleaner information.
04 / Choose
Select the highest-leverage bottleneck instead of treating every problem as equally urgent.
05 / Execute
Turn the decision into a concrete action that can actually be completed under today’s conditions.
06 / Measure
Use observable results and leading indicators instead of relying on mood, memory or a convincing narrative.
07 / Document
Archive decisions, outcomes, failures and adaptations so experience becomes reusable information rather than a disappearing impression.
08 / Adjust
Keep what worked, remove what did not and change the environment or protocol before the next pass.
Macro structure
The older four-stage model remains useful as a high-level map. The eight-step operating loop is how each stage is actually run.
